Sitting at our kitchen table in 2019, we decided the world deserved a bit of brightness.
That's when the idea for our independent online store was born. We wanted to inject some fun into the every day and bring a burst of joy with our funky, cheerful homeware and lifestyle goodies. Plus, let's not deny it – we needed to make a living too!
And now? It’s so much more!
Sure, we're not the only ones, but when we design and select our products, we do it with one thing in mind – to bring a smile to your face. Because we know that our stuff isn't just stuff; it's a burst of zesty quirk that you and your home crave.
If we‘re honest, life felt a bit bleak. Unemployment was not a vibe.

I’m a 30-something woman running my own funky homeware & lifestyle online store. And some days, I have to pinch myself. I did this!?
Not to get all sentimental on ye, but I’m really proud of what I’ve achieved here. ‘Cos I tell ye, back in 2019, life was throwing me curveballs left and right. I was out of work and feeling pretty low.
But then I thought, nope. No more moping. Let’s make a living by doing something that sets my soul on fire – enter Purple Lime!

I once saw a product that was okay. It worked. It did the job. But it was missing vibrancy, colour, soul... a personality.
I looked about. And I could only find grey, bland versions. So I closed my laptop. grabbed a pen and paper, and started thinking up a better, brighter, more fabulous version.
And guess what? People loved it.
